There is an atmosphere of refined serenity at this hotel, which caters to the ministerial crowd that frequents the area. Set back from the street, rooms are very quiet, and there is a lovely garden patio for breakfast alfresco in the warmer months. The decor is stately, without being stuffy; the custom-made furniture is inspired by Louis XVI and Empire styles. Entirely restored in 2014, infinite care has been taken to ensure that every inch of each room is in top condition, and there is now a handicap-accessible suite on the ground floor. Considering the quality of the lodgings and the self-importance of the neighborhood, the rates here are very reasonable.
